Maybe we all jump to conclusions on this one to fast...Innocent until proven guilty....
Sage, Im with ya man...Hanging or castration...BUT Just as we all rushed to judgment here, there are alot of men accused of abuse who have done nothing wrong!!! Again Im going to catch crap but this does happen.... I tell my child that my dad whipped me with a yard stick...She said he would never do that because thats abuse...It was not abuse but a lesson sorry to say I had to learn more than once...There is a line not to cross but of course some people take it to a bad extreeme, but I deserved each of those wacks!!!! I guess Im trying to say look at what rushing to judgemnet has caused here and nothing has even been proven in a court of law... |

can someone explain to me....what makes these adults think it's ok to be with kids????? I don't get the rationality. a woman in my neighborhood (27) started dating a 15 yr old kid...until the kids mom found out. what goes on in their minds???? I don't it  I don't understand it either Rose  P.S. I luv you and Fran but you do love me more than Rose - right Mirror   uhoh I better not answer this one  P.S. sexual abuse is so wrong!!

Kind of like the old I Love Lucy shows where they slept in separate beds because it wasn't "proper" for TV, even if they are married and normal in real life. But look at how it is today.
It has been going on through history...and JMO we should have figured out how to at least limit this better...I would think but that is why I don't get it all |

Read a case, guy convicted of rape, talked judge into castrating him. A few yrs later, he raped again. Had started having medical problems, caused by the castration. State had to start paying for him to take hormones. Hormones made it so he could rape again. AND HE DID. Just HANG em. |

NEED to BRING back the old ways. you are right...but the media and the people didn't talk about "those things" (rape, molestation, etc) as far as castration...you are correct. rape is a power thing and control and sex is the weapon (or that member is). without that tool...they will just use something else to do the job. maybe if we do get tougher on those that have been convicted (and I mean by solid fool-proof evidence) that maybe it MIGHT make them think twice. then again...they might just find new ways to be sneaky about it or to cast doubt. maybe there isn't a way to solve this. |

THAT part I'm not REALLY questioning (even though I don't get it) I'm talking more about forcing others. as far as today goes...that is why there are laws to protect kids (which I'm happy for) even if a child wants to marry an adult...yadda yadda yadda...they can wait until they are 18. too many kids rush through their childhood then look back later and regret it. I have always told my son to enjoy being a kid because in no time he will have to be an adult. |
