Just like a relationships on Mingles. Unless you have spent time on here,reading the forums. An knowing the humor in some of the people that post the most,they don't understand? Most that come to dating sites,don't even post. What they look for,i still will try an understand. For myself...I searched the site,to understand what it's all about! Is it ever ok to be with someone because you're afraid that you won't find anyone else better?
I feel that a problem lies in feeling "afraid". How about just feeling good with who you are spending time with and enjoying yourself in the moment? I think a healthy relationship requires trust in yourself that you are making a choice to be with them because you feel good about yourself when you're with them. If you are thinking about "someone better" then maybe your thoughts are elsewhere? Another concern is that if you feel that there is another "better" mate out there, what does that make you feel about who you ARE with? Are they ...not good enough? How would you treat them if you felt that way? |

I feel that a problem lies in feeling "afraid". How about just feeling good with who you are spending time with and enjoying yourself in the moment? I could be way off but if part of it just feeling like you won't find anyone I just have to say that not only is there always someone for everyone that where there is a desire for love there are also many chances over time. I feel like if you choose to be with someone, anyone, because you don't think you can get better you are not doing them or yourself any favors. Life is too short to settle by selling yourself out. The loneliest place in the world is being in the arms of someone you know you do not love or doesn't love you. If you are in a relationship and things are taking the preverbial lows as in highs and lows all relationships go through I would say hang tight for awhile. Maybe make a special effort to fall in love again like the circle of love all relationships are. It is really easier to be alone than look back at your life and know you should have lived it differently. |
