Yeah? Well... I wouldn't blame him- the way things are going out here, moving out of state might be a worthwhile option to make.

In fact, I've been seriously thinking about just that very thing the last couple of years.

Well yeah- NJ and NY have both been hit rather hard with all this deep recession crap goin' on. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if things were crappy out there as well and in the same proportions as here in Cali.

I think most every where is having a problem and if jobs are harder to get in your area then it's even worse...

Well the problem here in Cali is that the state legislature has been known for out-of-control spending-and-taxing. It'd be one thing if a given state was trying its best to keep from going to crap and just had to deal with bad luck.

But Cali supposedly has the sixth-largest economy and it STILL can't balance the budget? It can't manage to keep industry IN the state? I smell shenanigans right there.

In fact, word around the Sacramento campfire is that they're trying to bring Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown (former Cali governor and current Oakland District Attorney) back into the fold with regard to the state legislature. This DESPITE the fact he was responsible for those incredibly-lame freeway stoplights that are supposed to relieve congestion and decrease pollution from automobiles over thirty years ago. It's like the phrase "common sense" is totally lost among those who are supposed to run things in the state government here.
