$64 a day? I hope it isn't like that when I come out there. I need to rent a car for a few days.

Well I bought the part myself b/c I saved like $170, the place said they only ship ground 4-7 days.. They weren't kidding, it just left the warehouse today... I'm hoping I'll have my car by Wednesday.. The mechanic said once he has the part he only needs an hour.. Next time I'll let him order the part... slaphead

Sing if you come anytime after August it will be less.. I saw them for the first week of Sept for $13.99 a day for a compact.. I was looking to rent one to drive to Izzie's wedding.. They sure jumped for the summer... scared

Thanks Connie.. Me too.. Now it's a point of "did I make a smart move or not".. Getting my own part seemed to be a smart money saving idea but it the rental price surpasses what I would have paid for everything letting the mechanic get the part then I wasn't so smart.. frustrated

Yeah but I don't think it will. At the very least you'll break even since it's going over the time frame of when they should have had it ready. This way, since you got your part yourself, you can handle the extra days of rental car. Or something like that. laugh laugh laugh
