No Moof I don't go to places where the maitre d' would look down his nose at me... fortunately I can dress up and carry myself well enough that I don't worry about those things.. I also don't go to Spago's type places with celebrity chefs...

Don't like greasy spoons and diners, eh? Those are the most interesting places to eat, and it's not because of the chance of getting ptomaine, either!

Take a place I frequent sometimes called "The ORIGINAL Saugus Cafe" in Saugus, California, for example. It's been around for about 115 years and ALSO has distinction of being one of the last places James Dean went to eat (he actually had a coffee) before his fatal Porsche-on-redneck-truck accident back in the fifties.

The food's quite good, and it's got one heck of a bar, too! Just the place to get poop-faced in!

There's also a place called "Bergies: The Steakhouse" a little further north on the 14 Freeway just off of the Sand Canyon exit. While it hasn't been around as long as the Saugus Cafe has, it's got really good food and bar as well. Not only that, but R. Lee Ermey ("Full Metal Jacket", "Mail Call") sometimes hangs out there, as well! I know because I've met him a number of times there! It's his numbuh one watering hole!

well those are good reasons to go there I guess..

You're gonna laugh but I almost always wear heels even with my back.. They have really cute sandals (gladiator style) and some adorable closed toed shoes that would look great with capri's or shorts... I wear sandals with shorts...
