Hello All,
Unfortunately I recently parted ways with my fiance so i thought id give online dating thing a try, seemed easy enough, WRONG. I have now had what i thought were decent chats going with four diffrent women who all just suddenly stopped emailing, one even asked for my number after about three weeks so i gave it to her that was the last i heard from her, she even went so far as to pull profile, ouch. These are just basic getting to know you chats. Is this commen ? Any advice out there ?  Thanks John |

Dating sites are places where people go to pretend they're someone other than who they really are, and claim to be looking for something diametrically opposed to what they REALLY want, in an attempt to avoid coming across as shallow or superficial. As always, your mileage may vary. Of course, I'm being facetious here. But only a little. |

Take your time, no need to hurry.
Plenty of people here. Some are unsure of themselves, and get scared and freak out. Too many expectations, "Gee we seem perfect for each other, at least online we do" I won't say nothing is real until you meet face to face, but it is a good rule of thumb. |
