letting people get to know you.

it periodically) -- if you want to get anywhere, you need exposure, and
that's what the forums are all about.

But it isn't going to happen in a couple of weeks -- that's just not
enough time for people to get a read on you.

Coming across as petulant and impatient isn't going to help your cause
any, either.

It takes time, and a little bit of thought, and a little bit of writing,
and reading, and replying, and all that stuff.

Maybe it'll even turn out to be worth it in the end....
