If you found a person's profile who you would like to meet, and in their profile they stated they were unemployed, would you still like to meet them?indifferent

Yup, employment today is hard to keep, they may be on the in between or just in a bad spot... A job is not a requrement for someone to be honest and loving... Just my opinion though.

Good luck!flowerforyou

If they were actively looking for a job and didn't expect me to pay for everything, I don't see why not.

It depends, but unemployment is NOT a dealbreaker.

if they were looking for a job then yes if they weren't then maybe it doesn't matter if they have a job. only thing that matters is that they are right for each other

Money pays the bills, it does not bring happiness, but can bring misery and place a strain on a relationship. I would base it on the individual and my feelings for them, not what is in their bank account, though.

Are they unemployed but with other resource, SSI, unemployment etc or are they on the brink of financial disaster? Being on the brink of disaster seems a very stressful way to begin a relationship so I would offer friendship but withhold looking at a possible romance until their life was more settled. You know, be there to support them emotionally, try to help them see the good in life even when it is sucky, help with job searches etc build the friendship part. Maybe it is just me but I think having things to offer the relationship plays a role for both partners, being financially fragile might be an ego thing for some people too, just confuse things. Hope this makes sense, twas a very good question.

If I didn't meet unemployed women I wouldn't have had ANY dates in a LONG time.
