Morning Becky & Cindy do ya'll need some of this heat sent your way seems that we will have more then we need. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH NO!!!!!! we've got plenty here in IOWA!!!!!!! maybe not in the 100's......but close enough!!!!!! our humidity is sooooooooooooo thick, you can CUT IT!!!!!!

Hi Ya ((Kristi))  , you doing ok this a m? Doing good Linda how about you? Well my front yard is still doing good but I did not plant any flowers yet this year but the grass is still real green. But..............now my backyard ohhhhhhhhhhh not pretty can't let the St Augustine die  cost me way too much to put it in several years ago. Soooooooo I water the front and let the back fend for it's self when it gets this hot.

Humm yeah the humidity just today is over 60% so believe me we are soooooooooooooooooooooo lucky we not only get the heat but the humidity as well. Hummmmmmm guess the meaning we get the whole enchilada has a new meaning to it. that is what we get for wanting it all huhhhh

My back is all weeds so I do nothing to it! Its my front. I'll put the water on it, its St Augistine mostily too, this a m after I do the roses. Then I got to hand water the side over here and one plant in the garden that is still alive and the elephant ears that are still alive. This heat is just killing everything in sight!!

Yeah it is just way too Hot if most of my front yard was not shaded most of the day it would not do as good as it does so I'm lucky in that aspect. With all the trees going down the property line they shade the yard a lot then I have one big tree in front that catches that part of it.
 Shshs if it got the full sun all day I would not be able to keep it as green as it is.

I have one big tree in my very front where all my plants are and the St. is so that is the only reason all of it is still alive. It all gets morning sun but no afternoon sun or it would all be dead too.
Thank goodness for trees!! Yeah it is just way too Hot if most of my front yard was not shaded most of the day it would not do as good as it does so I'm lucky in that aspect. I agree with you on that one Beckie!!! I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But, right now, i'll take some COOL!!!!

In Albuquerque the have public announcements on TV..."Water your lawn 3 days a week", to conserve water...Tony & I do our part...the back yard, (weed patch) and the front yard, (gravel pit), don't require water.

I thought about putting gravel down everywhere too and making it look like a desert but, I do like my grass.
..My st. augistine is like carpet in some places and its spreading and it will kill the TX roses (stickers) I have growing in the yard. Just poured a cup of coffee so this is it. Ater this cup and ciggie I got to get out there and get busy. OH!! I dread it so bad! Its already 80 something.

Just got home. Got some new plants to go in my two pots that
the ones died in. Gonna plant them later this evening when it gets shady out there. Already 100 here!!
