I use to be really shy but being on here it's hard for anyone to se that
now lol But at one point it was hard to talk to people because I didn't
really know me. So today I feel like most if you don';t like who I am
you don't have to talk with me I think being real and up front ends up
scarring some people off lol

I used to be very open with my ideas and such with a girl... but now...
not so much. Yeah, granted most of my friends are females but they
already know whom I am... I just hate getting hurt (like anyone adores
it) and I'm only young once so, I'm just gonna talk to different girls
to make sure that I KNOW I can trust them.... and that they can trust
me.

yeah I'd agree with you there.

I can honestly say I have been totally open with who I am heck i bet
many think I am a looney but I just like to have fun and try to make
people laugh here.
But I do see what you mean it's almost like they just don't want to open
up or they try to be smoething they think they should be or someone
wants them to be.
Grrr too confusing for me just be youself makes life alot simplier

I am me and if someone does not like it they can show themselves the
door...I am shy until I get to know someone..but I am always me

Some times, I curb me. I can be verbally cutting and it just seems to
me that just ain't right, so I try to curb it.

A large part in my divorce after 19 years of marriage was my ex's family
would not accept me for who I am. My ex expected me to act like someone
else or just shut up all together. He put the onus on me, not them, in
this situation. It pretty much was always a me or them situation, and he
always chose his family. It is such a relief not to have to be around
those people any more! I love it!

i dont think most people try to not be themselves it is just easier to
be something different. i know for me when i'm not on the computer i try
to be what others want me to be and on the computer that isnt the case.
it isnt that i try to be different it just so happens that on the
computer u get to see more of me.

at the same time I allow people to get to know me privately alot more
than the forums.......

I am very open and direct either or..........

I am always me.....I am exactly the same goofy person on here as I am in

world, in this day to day world, outside my door. I have honour for
myself now, respect, and integrity, for who I am, as I am.

It is no easy task to be honest, and clear at all times, and I slip, I
fall back into old patterns, but my Self, my 'watchdog', calls me on
it...me I am my watchdog, I can sense when all is not in balance, some
call it conscience, I call it conscious.

im not afraid to be me heck who else could i be seriously tho, i
have no problem sayin what i feel and if someone asks my opinion then
they are gonna get it, i never worry anymore about wether someone likes
me or not because in the end the only one i answer to is God, but i do
have a problem with ppl when u first meet them they ask personal
questions and want to get all in your life to me stuff like that you
need to build up to in time.

Humm not afraid to let those that really want to know me get to know the
real me. I don't tell all on the forums. But for those that talk to me
on Im or in e-mail they see the real me up close. But I 'm the same on
the forums those through IM or e-mail just know me even more. So if
someone does not know the real me it is because they have never had the
desire to.

iam not that hard to get along with
i like myself and have no shame
and iam not afraid of very much in life
