For those of you that believe. Do you believe that Jesus is in you or near you? I am wondering if you are curious or trying to bring out those who do not believe in this "Jesus"? |
|

Well if you believe in the trinity, and the holy ghost, then you believe that yes, he is in you.
If you believe that God is has omnipresence, then you believe hes near you also. I believe in both. Didnt you say in the other thread you werent christian OP? You castin a line for jesus fish? |

I am wondering why when I hear so many say that 'Jesus' is in them... They wait for him to come. Instead of stepping up and doing... Would be nice if we brought about peace... So he could come (as the ledgend says) quietly rather than with a terrible host. Which would you rather see. Death and destruction first. Or no need for anything but peace? |

I think they may believe that yes, he is a part of them, and yes, they are waiting for him to physically show up. (like in the bible)

I guess that if you do not have "Jesus" then it would be hard to answer your question. I can give you an opinion if that is what you are looking for. Maybe you are looking for truth, or trying to understand someone's comments made to you under whatever circumstances it may have been. It does not bother me when someone redicules my beliefs as I spent 10 yrs in the military to help preserve someone that priveledge. But a generic question as you have posed, there is no starting point. Make sense?

The Holy Spirit live in u when you are a believer and have asked him in your heart. Jesus does love you but He wont live in you until you accept Him. Ok now yes i did say Jesus wont live in you. so someone is saying thought u said the Holy Spirit. That is the Trinity God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. To someone who does not believe it will not make any sence. I probably did not explain it right but thats the best i can do. Hope it helped anyway.

When I hear the name Jesus anymore all I can do is ask, "Which Jesus?"
The one that supposedly said: "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? Or the one that supposedly said: "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Whoever made this stuff up wasn't even paying attention to their own ramblings. I could write a book as large as the Bible itself that contains references to all the conflicting statements that Jesus and God supposedly made in the Bible. Not to mention the fact that Jesus totally disagreed with the philosophy and commandments that the God of Abraham supposedly demanded in the Old Testament. I mean, hey, I'm not trying to tell anyone what to believe. But when I hear the name Jesus all I can do is ask, "Which Jesus?" At worst he was schizophrenic, at best he was an just a fictional character that was poorly invented. |
