For the man,Michael Jackson, what is all the whoopla about the constant articles and media coverage anyway? He was a great star to alot of people, but he was "for al fairness",still just a man, nothing more, nothing less.He wasnt a GOD like the media seem to make him out to be!! I didnt care for the way he kept changing his appearance, new nose, new lips, this and that.If anyway cant be happy with the way they were born, then by god they sure have a MONUMENTAL problem.I say ENOUGH with the coverage, now how about Farah Faucet? Hardly any media coverage about her, that is NOT fair and is bias,as far as I'm concerned. I know opinions are made for anyone to have, right, wrong,or otherwise, this is just my opinion, for whatever it's worth! Rodster |

I agree about Farrah, however, I'd hazard a guess that her family and friends are relieved to have the media pressure taken off them at this time.

I dont think either one should get this coverage. Farrah is nothing more then a 70's sex symbol in my opinion. Until her recent cancer documentary she hasnt done naything in 30 years.
Just my opinion! |

Just think celebs are way over glorified. The people that make real differances are brushed aside by entertainers.

Michael jackson inspired 14 billion more people than farrah
Farrah was just a charlie's angel (big deal?) Michael Jackson made lots of money and jobs for millions of people (from concert helpers to tabloids to venders to record industry to factories) Michael Jackson was known world wide BEFORE the Internet made its course. Michael Jackson was more famous that Elvis. It seems logical that Michael Jackson > Farrah in media coverage. |

It seems logical that Michael Jackson > Farrah in media coverage. that is fantastic. talk about callin it out for what it is. you can sit here and complain all you want about the lack of coverage for one over the other but you cannot deny the massive impact the man made and changed with everything from music and videos to dance and even how we think judge and how the media covers celebs. he is a legend. |

Thanks. This single mom needs to be around for awhile. Yep, there's a bunch of threads on the topic. I find it interesting to see so many perspectives on the topic. I also know that the younger people won't have the memories of the Jackson Five and growing up with MJ, like I do. |
