Topic: Am I too judegemental? | |
---|---|
So this woman calls me yesterday and wants to tell me about her weekend, (information which I did not solicit). She goes over to her mommy's house for the weekend(cause she is a 28 year old dittle baby, who misses her mommy). Her brother and his babys momma (twins) are there, when the momma stands up and announces that she wants to k1ll herself. After some wrangling they spent the afternoon getting her admitted to a psych hospital and my friend babysits the twins. The next day the brother returns and wants to take the twins to see their momma, apparently he was drunk and proceeded to crash his car into a telephone pole. They take the twins to the hospital (they are fine, the brother refuses to go). The next day, the brother calls and says he can't move enough to take care of the twins, so she goes over and babysits and gets him into the hospital, while the babys mommas sister comes and takes the twins. She then told me cried all weekend and do I know why? I said well that was some story. She said no, she cried all weekend because Michael Jackson died, did I cry too. I told her I was crying now.

I have no sympathy for loons. I have no sympathy for people whose baggage and drama causes their lives to become train wrecks. i guess I'm a cold-hearted b@stard. be seeing you

I think you need to be more jusgemental in picking your friends.

wow, since when did wanting to visit your mom (at any age) make you immature??? yeah, you are too judgmental.
as for the drama, some people thrive on drama, apparently you do too, since you list as this person as one of your friends. |

What's wrong with a person visiting their mom? That doesn't make a person a "little baby". I visit my mom. She won't be around forever. |

The judgmental part was after that story, what she was really upset about and wanted to talk about was the of Michael Jackson. Please try to get my irony.

This is a judgment: "She goes over to her mommy's house for the weekend(cause she is a 28 year old little baby, who misses her mommy)." I got the rest of the drama. |

Okay, did I mention that she goes to her mommy's every weekend because she can not cook and do her own laundry? She loads up on her mother's left overs for the week and her kid even calls me to ask me to take him out for a pizza or something. she has been in three car s, all while making left turns- "I never saw the car coming!" "were you wearing your glasses?" "No, they make me look a nerd" (<- no offense Toots, you at least have the ***** to wear those nerd glasses!)

I told her I was crying now. sometimes you have people in your family you can do nothing about. sometimes you keep the drama as far as possible but it can have a tendancy of leaking in. and sometimes all you need is a REAL friend to sit and listen so you can vent a moment at what kind of a crappy family you may have, how these two babies are being raised by the worst parents possible and by the fact that you're trying to keep it together mentally so you don't let it effect you. so do you what is needed to be done for the kids and leave well enough alone. and then you find out that a major icon dies .. one you remember worshipping as a kid.. and you cry. hard. and you'd hope your friend can understand that. ironic isn't it... how that happens. oh.. and yeah i cried over mj too. hard because he was an integral part of my childhood and my first huge crush. all while dealing with a bunch of my own family drama. so she and i both think its really ... ironic? |
