aside from what he MAY have done wrong Michael Jackson's death is a bigger deal then elvis's death to music. Not many people can say they dont like something MJ did. My 72 year old grandma owns 2 of his CD's. This guy wrote music that spoke to you in many diffrent ways. I really dont think Michael did anything wrong to those kids, all he wanted was for them to have fun. He never really got to be a child. He has been in the light since the age of nine. I used smooth criminal when i did my first Dj battle and its still one of my favorite songs. I've never been sad to see someone i dont know die but this really is a sad day for music. He is the last of a dying breed......... people who make REAL music.

 in terms of musical talent,Wacko Jacko can't even compete with Elvis. Prsley started a brand new type of music...Rock & Roll. Pop music was around long before Wacko Jacko came on the scene. be seeing you

 sales have nothing to do with talent. i could list tons of artists who have sold less recors than Wacko Jacko but have much more talent. Warren Zevon would be a perfect example. Just because people buy into the hype of a product does not mean that it's good. There is a lot more McDonalds eaten than Prime Rib,doesn't mean it's good for you. be seeing you

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

not

It is estimated that Elvis has sold over one billion records worldwide, more than anyone else in the history of the record business. It is estimated that 60% of these sales have been in the United States and 40% in other countries.

As of January 2004, Elvis has 147 different albums and singles certified gold, platinum or multi-platinum by the RIAA. By far, Elvis has more RIAA certifications than any other artist or group.

Jackson had nine platinum singles in the United States, trailing only Elvis Presley (27)

Jackson had 16 gold singles in the United States, behind only Elvis Presley (54)

Jackson had 28 top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, trailing only The Beatles (29), Elvis Presley (36), and Madonna (37).
