hey,biker ...how goes the trip ???

...I'm not on vacation yet kevin. Still planning and organizing my vacation. Not going to get sidetracked on this one. Those that can't hack it- will be left behind to eat my dust.

Actually had one person call and expected me to pay for their way on my vacation. Pathetic. No way.

And another riding buddy who sold his bike actually had the balls to ask if he could use one of mine. Told him- go rent one from harley. $105 a day. And $13,000 lien against your credit card and you're rolling on your rental.

I mean I'm a nice guy kevin. But when it comes to my big motorcycle adventures- people just come out of the woodwork. And get real crazy and dumb. And many are the same crowd either expecting me to pay their way or refusing to go along with the game plan and ruining mine. No more. Ever. I can smell the dumbness.

I'm getting good at saying "No".

Some people just don't get it. The guys I plan these unfreaking believable once in a lifetime motorcycle adventures with work their butts off year round so we can pull these adventures off. They are planned heavily so we have to worry about nothing. All our needs and wants are met. And safety is our priority. For us- its basically the only vacation we will get for the year and its ours not to be messed with. When you only get one vacation a year and johnny come latelys show up and screw it all up you tend to get angry enough to kill someone. Usually the johnny come latelys. Destroying someone elses vacation is not good for your health.
