As anyone who has been on here for any length of time knows, I am a TOTAL flirt....I have no problem flirting with the guys in here...or the ladies!!! I am straight and let people know that I am, and that I am engaged. Does anyone have a problem with flirting with members of the same sex?? Are you afraid that someone will think you are gay and try to avoid you??? If they avoid me, then they weren't worth my time...... i like to flirt with my partner, and only my partner. i'm not interested in the affections - be them just friendly and silly - of another, nor am i interested in awarding someone besides him any of my own playful romantic attention. he has my entire interest. also, it wouldn't make me feel very good to see him bantering with other woman, especially using the same words that he uses on me. if i don't think i'd like it, neither would i do that to someone else. however, i don't mind joking around with my women friends such as 'eileen you look awfully hot today' (THAT wasn't a joke by the way  ) I agree 100% !!! Flirting is just that at times innocent and only meant to break the ice with others. Sure I have seen it at times taken out of context and carried way to far. But then those are the ones that do it on a normal bases and normally are just jerks to begin with.
It is human to flirt whether you be male/female towards the same sex or the opposite sex. As long as it is done in a harmless way and all in fun why should it really matter. Heck yeah I have been known to flirt at times all in fun and nothing else hummm well most of the time.  But now within the New Members area I do feel that area should be for telling the New Members hello not going in there with off color remarks or going over board even in a joking matter. At least let them get to know everyone a little bit so they know who is joking and who is not. As far as flirting with others regardless who they are I don't have a problem with it as long as it is done all in fun and the ones involved are having a good time. But.........if it is being done to the point that it makes someone uncomfortable then it has been carried too far. Therefore boundaries have been crossed that should not have been and actions would have to be taken in order to make all members feel comfortable posting. Like I have said above if all involved are having a good time and just joking around then I see no problem with it and will join in at times. We are all here to have a good time and to enjoy each others company but... we must remember too that not everyone sees things the same way as the next person does. Therefore we should always respect the feelings of others as we would expect them to have for ours.
