Only if I feel I've done EVERYTHING in my power to understand where they are coming from. If I cant and theres no way to see eye to eye then yes I have given up before. What's sad is some people will just toss a friendship aside, regardless of how in-depth it was, over a simple misunderstanding. Just give up after not even attempting to see where things went wrong.  Have you ever felt so disappointed with someone that you just gave up? Yes. When my formor wife refused to stop using meth. I took the kid and moved out. Within a month I had a new girlfriend and was MUCH happier. It was the best thing I ever did. |

depending what was done, the relationship may stop, but the friendship never does. i don't abandon my friends, but i won't take abuse, or being used, by either. if they become all around bad, and mean....and communications stop, i give them space, then try again to help. if that doesn't work...it's not worth my time.
