Have you ever let the "one that got away" know he/she was the one that got away even though you have moved on? No. There has never been the "one that got away"- once they're gone, they're gone, period.

When they dump you, it doesn't feel like they "got away." At least not to you.

Its what always happens to me. I get dumped, then a year later I hear the oh I should have stayed with you bull. Grass isnt greener on the other side. sigh

I have yes. She didn't get away. I set her free because I was young and felt she deserved better.

i let a great one get away. it was all my fault for not having control over life and death. Nope, after 30 years I figured too much time has passed. ( High School sweetheart) I could see no reason to tear up his life after that long. that's considerate. one came back and tried to wedge back into my life after 13 years.

I've never had one get away. I'm such perfection they all beg to be with ME!
