No, not at all. |

Do you think its strange for two people that have been in a dedicated relationship for 6 months to not have said, "I love you" yet? NO!!!!! We should say those words only and until we honestly mean it. It shouldn't take very long, but everyone is different. I think it is strange to just throw those words around without their full meaning being appreciated. When you do say it, it'll mean that much more. A lot of people take those words for granted. |

Not strange at all. When a person has been hurt it could be hard for htem to say those 3 little words. Some people don't even know what love is but speak them. I am all for waiting.

No it's not strange... It's better to keep those feelings in check until you're sure... Too many people throw that word around as much as the other 4 letter word...

I find it all very confusing. Are we doing the wrong thing by trying too hard to do the right thing? Can you feel it but not know it? Can you know it but not be sure what the feeling means? No one goes instantly from not being in love to totally being sure that they are in love.

Do you think its strange for two people that have been in a dedicated relationship for 6 months to not have said, "I love you" yet? We try so hard to follow arbitrary rules in order not to mis-step. Who made the rules? How do we know if we are doing the right thing by either following them or breaking them? I wish there was an instruction manual! |

One more thing to contemplate.
If "actions speak louder than words," then why do we give a single word so much power? I could say I love you all day long and if I don't behave in a loving manner, you would know the word was insignificant. I could never say it and show it consistently and you'd understand that message too. Just thinking out loud... |
