 Do you think its strange for two people that have been in a dedicated relationship for 6 months to not have said, "I love you" yet?

It's not at all strange to me.

It's not strange at all. After all, any professions of love would have to come from the heart and be honest as well. If neither are present in a relationship, would you really be professing love to them?

People shouldnt say "I love you" unless they mean it.

I don't understand why people put time frames on love and relationships.........if you feel it you will say it in your own time. There shouldn't be a set time to say things or do things within a relationship

of course it is normal every relationship dosent have the same things it might take a while for the person to admit it that dosent mean they dont feel it.

showing love for someone is more realistic than mere words

I had been with a former girlfriend for 18 months before I said that I loved her.

Not at all. 6 months? That really isn't very much time to get to know someone, is it. How does one love someone without knowing him/her? If a person truly has and expresses loving feelings so early in a relationship, I'd be wondering who it is they love...perhaps just a figment of his/her own imagination?

WHEN ITS THE RIGHT MOMENT YOU WILL KNOW, IF IT COMES OUT TOO FAST AND THE OTHER PERSON ISNT READY THERE MAYBE SOME UNCOMFORTABLENESS:wink:

It is rather early 6 months you say?...to profess "love" but that's just my opinion....Personally, I have in the past waited a year or more before I uttered those words...flowerforyou
