some people don't have pictures and prefer not to for whatever reason (yes I was in that thread too) maybe someone has learning disabilities. Einstein was called stupid because of it. or maybe the schools failed them in teaching them. teachers in public schools are usually under paid and crowded classes. to some parents they are nothing but glorified baby sitters. again....this type of thread isn't productive IMO But its amusing, sorta. |

Well, one can choose to agree or disagree or whether to even read it or not.
I agree with Winx. It does show how you present yourself to the rest. |

OK...here is my soap box moment for the evening. I really don't care who agrees with me or not...sometimes you've got to go against the grain. Is it REALLY that big of a deal??? Does insulting, making jokes and putting others down help anything? Did anyone stop to think that maybe they might not be as educated, typos, bad day or just don't care about spelling, grammar and punctuation? are these people some how inferior to others? NO. If this is all people have to complain about in life...count your blessings for that. and while I'm still on my soap box....this thread has been done MANY times before. Just like the "nice guy" threads and other such threads. But when a new member does a thread that has been done to death....people pounce. Don't forget we were all new at one time too and everyone has feelings as well People need to proofread their profiles! It's like they don't care how they present themselves to others. again...why??? If they don't present themselves in a way someone else thinks they should (for whatever reason...good or bad) then I don't read them. those things don't make someone a good person or bad person or intelligent or not |

Well take the real world then. How people speak and how they dress. People are constantly judged on speech patterns and how well or poorly they're dressed. But in the real world you don't have to interact with someone you don't want to, but on here you interact with people you prolly wouldn't even considering in the real world. But then again, what do I know?

But then again, what do I know? actually you do have a point. maybe that's why I am ranting. I don't look at the outside in real life. I look at actions and how they are inside. if I see someone come into the bar I hang out at wearing what others would say looks slutty....I don't see it that way. i see it as that is how she likes to dress and won't assume who she is |

If they don't care enough, why should I want to meet them? |

all im saying now is theres a difference between being book smart and comon sence Yes there is. Many don't have a degree hanging on their wall. That does not mean they are stupid. But intelligence, amoung many other definitions Does have to do with the ability to learn and use of language. Some profiles, emails or posts on here look like they come out of a bad Deliverance movie. |

Too many times to count. |

I don't get too goofy over it. I had a woman email me last week with a typo. She said she was a man seeking a man. I thought it was amusing. Because through her profile she kept declaring what type of woman she was and used the word woman a few times in the profile. I emailed her back asking if she was a man or a woman?
