Ok I got 2 money orders in the mail for $825, I know its fake.. the water mark on it is drawn bad, looks like the purple guy from McDonald's. Im sooo sick of these scams! I got emails all the time, I just ignore them.. now what to do with these money orders. Anyone else get these in the mail?

not only money orders, I have gotten cashiers checks in the mail as well... I have turned over some to bank authorities if there is a branch in the area...I have also turned them over to the FBI office in the area and the USPS. after a couple of years of this, now I just throw them away. |

See if you are to report them to the police or the postal service.

Anyone else get these in the mail? save all those unsolicited junk mail you receive shred them and mail them back using their own postage paid envelopes

First I got emails from this guy... now this. I wanna know how he got my address! I just moved out here, I don't understand. if he wants you to cash them, because he cannot due to being out of the country...blah, blah, blah...then of course, as you already know, this is a scam. I would turn them over to the USPS mail fraud division. include any emails that were sent concerning these money orders. it is scary how easy it can be to get someone's address now... good luck! I went through this a couple years back. |

I'm not to sure why I got them, he never said anything bout him not being able to cash it. The guy is from England, sent the money to some female in GA then she sent it to me. I have her address an email, his name, website, email an phone an fax number.

I'm not to sure why I got them, he never said anything bout him not being able to cash it. The guy is from England, sent the money to some female in GA then she sent it to me. I have her address an email, his name, website, email an phone an fax number. this is a scam operation. Have you checked the IP address of the people that are sending you the emails. she may say she is from GA but she may have the same IP address. This is absolutely a scam operation. Why did she send it to you? This is something that should be reported to at least the USPS due to the fact that it was sent through the mail. |

I received a check in the mail about a year ago for over 4,000 dollars drawn on Chase Bank. It said it was to pay taxes for some contest. I shredded it

PLEASE NOTE: If you include printouts of any emails, print them with full headers, as that will include the information that professionals, and geeky, techy non-professionals, can use to track them down, and also to verify that the email is, indeed, valid. |
