Ok so I've NEVER heard of something like this. I've heard of similar situations but never one that has these details.

This person I know (for once it isn't me XD) is in a situation with a girl that he really cares for they have great chemistry and they make the world jealous when they're together. Really it is the cutest thing I've ever seen (this coming from a guy)and here comes the odd part. Despite the fact that these two seem perfect for one another and such she already has a boy friend! The relationship between her and her boy friend is long distance and the time they spend together is grand but she constantly questions if she is with the right guy. I'm friends with both of them so I want them to be together but I am really unsure of how they should handle it. I feel like I'm in middle school again with the way they act it is rather stupid. So I came here for advice since last time I got some really good stuff for myself.

A little more info....
1. She won't leave the guy she is with for him as she claims it is "tacky"
2. He won't listen to adult reasoning and move on.
3. Her boy friend is oddly supportive of his crush (I don't get it either)
4. She constantly tells my friend that she likes him and when both him and her boy friend were together with her she chose to be all over my friend more so than her boy friend.

I'm just so stumped because this seems to stupid to me. Please shine some light on what I should say to them.

Personally, any friend that pops this issue out is probably not going to be someone I hang out with. Given I don't have friends it is unfair of me to base my personal feelings on the question at hand. However since you and your friend like to bounce your (operative term 'your') relationship issues back and forth like you are playing tennis, my only advice is this: He is screwed, unfortunately it sounds like he is going to have to learn that the hard way. The situation you noted has no "fail proof" way out, matter of fact the only real way out is heartbreak for one or both parties involved...he needs to move on, or he can just sit and continue to put himself through a useless situation that he has absolutely no control over aside from physically or verbally breaking them up.

Either way; lose/lose...move on.

It sounds like to me, any kind of advice you give...you are going to be the bad guy. If you say something about her liking or flirting with someone else, you might lose a friend.
I actually had a friend and I found out that her boyfriend asked someone else out. I told her and our relationship has changed a lot. She stopped talking to me for months and of course she is still with her boyfriend.
I say stay out of things that does not involve you directly. Let your friends deal with it..walk away!!!

Well he has already heard both the bad and the good as has she...they both accept this and just want to play things out because as time went on the long distance boy seems to have announced he can not handle the distance as well as he claimed so he might end it...Possible success on my part.

@Chris Forget about hiding nerdyness as it is very important to be honest with women any way....hence my cosplay pictures XD

Meh I don't care if every one puts me aside because that just makes the genuine people easier to find.
