Alexisonfire.
Ok so I'm doing this for my own benefit mostly but I though if anyone was a fan or had any thoughts, it'd be nice to see them. Over the next few days I'm going to be concentrating on Alexisonfire. I feel as though I never gave them a fair shot before since I tend to shy away from anything 'screamo' but honestly, they're really good. They were formed in 2001 in St.Catherine's Ontario, with 5 members. * George Pettit – lead vocals (2001–present) * Dallas Green – vocals, rhythm guitar, piano (2001–present) * Wade MacNeil – lead guitar, vocals (2001–present) * Chris Steele – bass guitar (2001–present) * Jordan Hastings – drums, percussion (2005–present) Now I love Dallas Green. He did a solo project called City and Colour which was more of an acoustic rock than anything. Listening to him and George Pettit sing in unison is stellar. I'll be going through a few of my favourite songs as soon as I get some hangover releif...

It's called the "Canadian Lumberjack" look. They got a bazillion tattoos, rarely shave, and are constantly screaming. Wicked band if you like loud though! |

The guys say their music is like "the sound of two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight", which having never heard but can picture in my head...seems accurate.
They got this wicked guitar shredding with George screaming over the top and Dallas throwing his harmony over top of that. My favourite so far? This Could Be Anywhere is the World. Just listened to it. Kinda sounds like Limp Bizkit and U2 had sex and this band is their bastard children. Wow.

Boiled Frogs is pretty wicked too...cool video. Dallas is kinda cute in his factory, but George looks hilarious in a cubicle.
