HEy cloudy I was at Churhill Downs about 8 years ago and I saw one fly
over this lady and her son was pointing at it and as soon as she looked
up it was all 's away

Anyway, there was a flock of pigeons on my porch this morning and they
wouldn't even get out of my way! They snickered at me in their little

i like rats, too...they make great pets.

Rats I can deal with, I can move them, but these mutated birds outside
my window are pure EVIL. I have my windows open right now and they are
cooing plans to kill me in my sleep

bahaha. when i went to washington dc, there were pigeons EVERYWHERE.
when they were on the sidewalk, i would run through the middle of the
flock (is it a flock?) and they would fly off the sidewalk, wait for me
to pass, and land right back in the same spot. like i barely bothered
them. it was great.

So the eggs are the heart of the bird...so if I take that out, THEN THEY
WILL ALL DIE MWAHAHHHAHAHHA!

I used to dislike pigeons, until I found out that they were used as
carrier pigeons during WWI and I think WWII also...

I really know very little of all the details, but I do know that they
were essential in transporting correspondence
where other methods of transportion were impossible...

Some birds were so good, and so heroic,
they were even decorated as war heroes...

Birds are very adaptable...With cities and urban sprawl encroaching on
their natural habitats, they & other birds have had to become very
versatile...Even peregrine falcons & other wild birds have had to become
very adaptable...T
They are living in tall buildings, skyscrapers
and other locations right in cities now...

I also think pigeons are pretty, they have a soft, gentle song.
I think is is really cool how they are so able to find their way in the
worst of conditions and no matter where they start out...Their homing
abilities are absolutely incredible...
