you cant compare the beatles to the stomes... the beatles opened many doors for the stones and rock and roll.... i would think you would comapre more the stones and the who and let me just say this i have seen the stones and the who in concert and the both ROCK!

I can listen to the Stones more than the Beatles cause the latter band is over played here in my city. I can turn the dial and hear 3 diffy Beatles songs at the same time. So I am a bit biast on that end.

I love all kinds of music. Rock is just one form of music. I'll take the Beatles over the Stones anyday. I thought Leon Russell did the definitive version of Jumping Jack Flash anyway.

I saw the Stones, George Thoroughgood and Heart all in the same concert. They all rocked the place. Stones for wild music Beatles for more mellow stuff

Coming from the home of both groups, it is difficult to pick one. I can tell you that the Stones live are incredible. For wrinklies they make amazing music. But historically the Beatles made more pop music, whilst the Stones made rock music. So, the Stones were for adults, the Beatles were for teenagers. Flexibility was what they both had, so that is why their music lives on even now. So, a decision. err ... The Who! They were a mixture of both!
