Topic: Too fast....! | |

Had a letter from a guy on myspace, and we have been chatting. 2 DAYS!!!
Now he thinks I'm his one, and wants us to meet, he'll move to Texas (he's in NY) and be happy being a farmer. And I think he's serious! This isn't the first time its happened either. What's up with the guys doing that?! I fully admit, I'm analytical and no-nonsense, and prefer to meet the person before making a decision, but seriously, what's with the immediate (supposed) fall in love bit? |

The fact that you met him on Myspace would be enough reason to run away!!

Yeh, he finally came across mentioning he doesn't have a job, so aside from everything else, it's come to a screaming halt. I'm just amazed at the strangeness of it, and am totally clueless as to why it happens.

Maybe so, but most aren't trying to pick up and move across country without a job. |

But I have 34 acres, a place to stay and am busy busting butt around here too. The property isn't fully carrying it's weight financially, but it's giving me the time to stay off for a bit. |

I never have done that, I was willing to move for a couple of girls I met...but mainly because I want to get the hell out of this state. Guys+Ladies*Desire/Reality=Fail. |

Besides the fact that he's just an average man trying to make a connection with YOU, there are a good many men who are just as superficial as your arguement is material. You better smell the coffee, because you will meet all kinds of people in this life but if you can't get past the oddities that we all harbour, you will find yourself old and alone. And craggy. Look, does the guy need a place and something to do? Do you have more land than you NEED and it is not making money? Then grab the douche and put him to work making you rich. Sounds simple enough. Scared? Get a gun and a copy of the 2nd amendment and make sure you set concrete rules.
