$1 million dollars may seem like a lot of money, but in 20 years, 1 out of 10 Americans will be making a million dollars annually.

I would put it in the bank and live on the interest,
then when I'm gone, my kids would be well off!

There were only 100 billionaires in 1990

There were 763 billionaires in 2006

That number dropped by 1/3 in 2008/2009 but that was a depression

In 20 years, the progression is going to increase at a pace congruent to my prediction that people who have 1/100 of that amount of that money (Millionaires) will increase at the same rate

you also have to consider the cost of living going up with that. imagine when 1 million looks like 40 grand. then what? what will we do when currency is that completely screwed?

i for one will start bartering with chickens. :p

The cost of living is precisely why so many more people will be making $1 million annually.

A nickel can't but you anything today, but it could buy you a gallon of gas or carton of milk in 1910.

This disproves people's theory that if they don't spend the $1 million that they'll be well off for the rest of their life... which is false
