maybe a half dozen or so profiles on the fish site... Every one I looked at contained a very detailed description of the man they seek (tall, rich, must accept her kids as his own, ambitious, funny, spontaneous, treat her like a queen, etc. etc. etc.).
A couple of things struck me. First, I'm eliminated on the basis of lacking many of these qualities. Second, these women were all within ten years of my age. If indeed this man they are looking for does exist, wouldn't he be looking for her 23 year old daughter? Lastly, I was under the impression that the essay was primarily to describe who YOU are. In order to verify this notion I took a look at the essay guidelines: 1. Talk about your hobbies. 2. Talk about your goals/aspirations 3. Talk about youself and what makes you unique. 4. Your taste in music. Okay I'm done ranting. Go about your business. |

Some PEOPLE post little to nothing. Its a ocean full of fish. Many throw backs.

Reading profiles on that site is like driving around looking at Speed Limit signs all day -- the numbers change every once in awhile, but they're essentially all exactly alike otherwise.

There are beaches around here? Oh yeah we live on an island... 
Funny thing that in all the years I've lived near the beach I've seen very few simply walking on it. I never have myself... There are a wide range of activities on beaches highlighted by swimming and working on your tan. A beach seems a singularly bad place to go for a walk... |

You do not have to walk anywhere to see booty on the beach. This can be good or bad depending on the booty. |

Guidelines you mean we had guidelines to go by when writing our profile
 Shshshsh heck I just started writing no telling what some think about mine I was told it was way to long by a few I just shrugged my shoulders and thought hummmm pass that one up for if they could not take the time to read it then they most likely could not hold a conversation....

Yeah, but I have gotten more dates with local women from there. However, they've mostly been an "interesting" group... Tooo funny for I did try the site before I found this one and actually did have like 4 dates from that site in a matter of weeks. But...........as you see they did not work but hey I did get more offers for dates then I do here and all local. |
