Who would want to be perfect in the eye of someone else, it can only lead to deception for whoever is looking at you. I want to be loves for my faults as well as my qualities and hopefully fit in her life.

Perfect cannot exist in a relationship. I believe it would lead to boredom with each other. I sort of had this discussion with someone a little while ago. There should be some imperfections and uncommon interests, thoughts, and points of view to keep things interesting. What's the fun in just agreeing with each other all the time or never exploring each other's uncommon interests?
