What this world would be like without material possessions? What if we treated the attempt of subjugation on mankind by his fellow species as just another form of mental illness?

have you even wonder why people kill their fellow men?
why the world so corrupt?
without guns we can do do better?
why hurt our fellow men like starving dogs?
life isnt all cracked up to be?
what is the future for us now?
who is sending our messages of despire?
brokenheart life is confusing
yeah it is but what about the people around us arent they important

SO MY QUESTION REMAIN:
WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?

To claim such a thing would require a code of ethics on which the whole world could agree. But as relativsts have observed, ethics is a matter of opinion which can only be relative to a society or to an individual.

So according to relativism we need to mind our OWN business. But that presents us with a paradoxical situation.

Are we a social animal or is 'social' confined to groups? Can we survive independently? If anyone is to survive it will be the environment which supports it. But if every individual minds their own business and cares not for the environment, then all must suffer the consequences.

So is it mental illness to maintain ethical principles in which behaviors can adversely affect all of humanity or is it an ill-conceived idea of philosophy?

And who will decide what is right and wrong for all humanity and in the end would enforcement of such principles be subjugation?

So a world without materials... I notice that it is really quite odd that how the state of things are, it is such that humans are tied to a body, and that thoughts of I have to have a biological material origin, or at least facility. Can a person exist without a body, without compiling the materials through diet that make up the bones and flesh? What would be a person then, but a locale? I mean if you really say that the material world runs by the same laws as a mind operating in the same world, which should be guranteed by a scientific mindframe, then bodies are part of our pulsating lump of life, or more reasonably, human is part of everything else. This notion may seem too out there for some, but if one takes it, the 'person' doesn't exist. There is nothing but a life acting as it should in the environment it is in. There is also not material, because the person is connected to the cosmos and it all. Considering how people would act accordingly in different situations, such a world would be more appropriate.

Material = denoting or consisting of physical objects rather than the mind or spirit.

possession = The act or fact of possessing.

Are you suggesting that we should own nothing? How does that work? My clothes are your clothes and his clothes and her clothes?

Or are you suggesting that we live au naturale in the wilderness, seeking food via hunting and gathering?

How does owning things equate with subjugation?

It won't happen--just about all animals are territorial in one way or another, and that is why "possessions" came into being, eh?
