Why did your last relationship go bad?

my ex and I had a religious conflict. I was a protestant and she was a b1tch

We really WANTED to be right for each other, but it just wasn't so. We stayed together when we both knew we shouldn't have because we got along so well. Unfortunately it was not enough to make a relationship work.

No amount of attention was ever enough for him.

He was Bipolar, I have a son with ADHD. One person with a mental illness in the mix is enough. It was him or my son. I give up my son for no one. He also wouldn't go to therapy an didn't take his meds correctly.

The reason's are far too personal to be discussed. He was realistic and, I was hopefull but, he was right.

it ended, but not badly, i just needed my space.

Why did your last relationship go bad? He said “Let’s be exclusive.” I said “Ok.” 
I was; he wasn’t. 
He was still meeting women from the same web site that we met on. 
I had closed my account, but he had kept his open to “just talk with friends.” 
Lesson learned.

she wanted something different. At least she was honest about it. We are still friends at least. NO benefits...

Sort of my fault too. She told me she's gonna leave the country before I started to date her. She never backed out of it and I failed to change her mind and failed to make her love me enough to stay, and of course I didn't count that I would miss her so much.
