With Mojo bein in the back she didn't see 'em comin up so she could bark her head off an warn me someone was out there. U'd think with my carport light bein on an the fact that people comin an goin from the neighborhood would stop 'em. Nope I think the only thing that's gonna do it is some very mean Rottweillers posted at each corner of the house. Gonna make it hard for the meter guy but oh well.  I'm thinkin' it's probably one of your neighbors that is acting like a friend,,, not sure why,,, |

take a consealed weopon course and yull get a licence to kill ...almost,they'll teach you ways to kill sum1 legaly but by getting a consealed licence isnt gonna stop a jury from saying guilty as a verdict cause u have to be justified lol there is only your word vs a dead mans word

Sounds like these items were taken from a shed or barn...here is what you do... loosely string fishing line across the inside of the doorway..about a foot or so inside about 6-8" off the ground...attatch small blacktreble hooks along it with some cans tied to the ends ..I recommend two or more strands...
Anyone going inside who don't know it is there is F**KED! They damned sure will be too busy trying to free themselves to steal your sh*t. Cheap, non-lethal and a b*tch to deal with. I know for a fact it works. |

I dont know about more dogs. Maybe a wire hooked up to a 220 line and tied to your valuables might just do the trick. ( I am ticked off today so anything goes. ) Tomorrow I might be nicer. Or maybe not. That's what I was going to say. At least a battery powered alarm, cheap and easy to install. |

Good idea, Krupa Had a similar problem when I lived in a crappy neighborhood in town...strung three strands....a week later there was stuff knocked over...no sign of the fishing line snares...and nothing missing. At least for the two more years I lived there. |

Redd..the problem with hungry dogs is that anyone can throw a poisoned ball of hamburger to 'em & they will gobble it up. I KNOW cuz it happened to me. Our gas was getting siphoned out every night until I put a huge Dobie on patrol. One night, I heard knocking on my door...it was his foot kicking against the door as he seizured from the poison (the vet said it was strychnine). All I ended up with was another empty tank of gas, a huge vet bill, & a dead dog...
 I like Krupa's idea better...

Excellent idea EZ, I could get one of them kid alarms for the door, real easy to install an loud as all h*ll.

Never to be recovered, (despite having serial numbers for each)..i sleep with a Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum..i will disable anyone who invades my home, and never give it a second thought. |

I've got security cameras running 24/7, an alram system, a .45 loaded and ready, and a huge dog.....I'm tired of being broken into as well. The last guy that broke in had dog bites from his thigh to his ankle and had nerve enough to complain in the court room....He's lucky he didn't get shot.
