I did have him and I actually broke it off because it just wasn't working. I do still love him but when the relationship doesn't work you just have to walk away.

How do you stop yourself from loving someone that you can't have? U cant, u can only make an intellectual decision in regards to accepting that its not for u, and time will help with the love bit.

How do you stop yourself from loving someone that you can't have? First you decide if you really want to stop loving this person. If you really want to stop, then you pray for the will power and strength to do so. Then put forth EVERY effort (i.e. no calls to and from the person, no see the person...so on and so forth). Lastly, you need to be accountable to someone. Someone who is there to support you and make sure you accomplish the goal. Keep in mind, if you really are not serious about matter and you do not have your mind made up... your kidding yourself. Asking is one thing, but knowing is have the battle.
