lol, wondering what spyder Sh** looks like.... hehehe... I do my best to
stay in communication with my cyber friends,... On myspace, its almost
impossible, unless you post a bulletin to all

The problem is people say one thing, do another. I was (am?) writing a
guy who said he is looking for excitement. Okay. Looking for a little
excitement in his life. That sounds like fun. He writes me maybe once a
week (he doesn't have ready access to a computer). So why do you go on
an INTERNET DATING SITE when you don't have access to the internet? I am
afraid once a week is not going to cut it for me. I am here to meet
people, not go at a snail's pace. Hell, I was going at a snail's pace on
my own before I came here. I came here to speed things up, lol.

once had a woman friend in another state and we wrote almost daily for 9
months..and began to plan how & when to meet...then all of a sudden I
got an email that said "I can't write to you anymore, oh god this is
awful"...and sure enuf that was it....

year later I get an email from her again...she had been caught by her
husband.. (married?? nice to tell me)....

the nature of the internet...you do need to be careful about your
expectations..

davinci1952: I think honest people just expect that other people are
honest. I don't think along the lines that others are going to have
devious intentions, because my mind doesn't work that way! Yes, you have
to be careful, but you have to have a certain amount of faith in people
to get involved in a site like this. That's where people get screwed.

Well I think that at times we all at one time or the other have started
talking to someone we felt was very interesting. And enjoyed talking to
them. Maybe they made you think about things in life or made you smile.
Just maybe a feeling we have inside an the thirst of knowledge to know
this person more. They seem to lighten your day. Then out of the clear
blue yonder phoof they are gone. I can't sit here and say ohh big deal I
don't care. For I can't say that. I have a heart and yeah sometimes we
let our heart guide us too much. But also if nothing in life was to get
to you at least once in a while. Think about it, is your heart so closed
that you want let it allow to feel those feelings. Now I'm not talking
LOVE here or being in love. For myself I might be intrigued with another
or in lust for one but in no way would it be in-love with someone I have
never met. Myself I must met them first before those words could cross
my lips.

I would have to say 3 times it has happen to me But it's been more like
a month to two months. I find that some women and I mean only
some Have this internet dating fantasy and that is all it
will ever be to them. So why spend the time geting to know someone and
letting them think your actually going to meet or go any further with
the friendship. But in reality it will never happen....

It does get kinda gross when you have to scrape guts off the
monitor...So I quit!!!!!!!!
