My life in the military and as a government contractor have been working with men for the most part, but, it was my honor on a few misions to work with a female pilot of a Blackhawk gunship. When our unit was attacked and a few of my men and I were hurt in Iraq, she flew her chopper in between us men and the incoming laid down a few minutes of hell to get us out of the way. Then she got the wounded to the aid station. She got the second highest flying medal for her actions. In her very soft voice, she said,..."I broke a nail in that one". If I were to go back, she would be my requested pilot.

That painted a really good picture of the scenario.. It's as if I was watching it unfold in my head form the sidelines Mike.. Have you ever thought about writing a book on your military outings and places scene...or is that something you would rather leave alone?

Purty much every job I've ever worked was male oriented. The work I enjoy doin is mostly comprised of men. I really don't like sittin on my hinny behind a desk. I prefer to be movin around accomplishin sumthin. Of course havin eye candy does help the work day go by more enjoyable also. shades

Through the years I have worked with both and I can not say that neither have no flaws as far as working with them.

I can say I have had more fun and many more laughs working with men. And I don't mean that due to flirting with them ect. Most of the men I have worked with were married or taken and I respected that as they did as well. It was just more laid back and easy going. Without all of the drama.

For the last 12 years I have worked in the office for a construction company that laid underground cable for AT&T the guys did their job in the field and I did all the prep work to get them there and the paper work once it was done. Men don't get into the drama of trying to stab you in the back to take your job no matter if you work in the field or not. All they want is for you to pull your weight.

Like some have said before I could care less if you bought your clothes at Neimans or what the next big sale isnoway So what you charged your life away.

I'm not out to keep up with the Jones per-say. Just do my job and enjoy being around those I'm around.
