(still very new here)
In your experience, in people's profiles where it says, "last seen over a month ago", are those people usually never heard from again? All of the profiles I seem to be interested in say, "seen within last month or over a month etc etc." I know that's a broad question but hopefully somebody has like a really good answer and being this is my 1st topic I had to say something ya know? But I am intereted in finding a decent answer to this. |

There is no one decent answer. There are too many variables. On the whole, I'd say you're not likely to get a response from such a member. Shouldn't that be answer enough?

Actually, that has just been added to the site recently so it would be hard to tell right now, I would think...but some do leave for a bit and come back..it's not uncommon

people leave for a variety of reasons, and they come back for a whole host of different reasons, heh.
i myself was off of the site for several months (mostly) due to computer issues. i know others who leave the site while they are dealing with personal issues or while they are committed to one person. they often return. here's the kick...some people only log in when they have email, so it's NOT pointless to send someone who hasn't been here a message, because they just might decide to check in and read it. |

Another thing that kinda sucks and I know everybody knows this, our photographs of ourselves don't do us justice! My pictures look horrible and I photograph terribly. I'm not that bad looking seriously! Not that looks are important but still! And cell phone cameras.....could they be any crappier? And it's funny seeing everybody's one arm reaching out when they take pics of themselves! |

I go missing from time to time but it's usually just when I'm very busy, drop 'em a line and if you don't hear back, no great loss. |

Here's a tip for self photos.. get a tripod, under 10 bucks. Even the most inexpensive digital camera has a timer in it, no more stuck out arm in picture |

Hummmmmmmmmmm don't forget there are those like me that stay in Stealth Mode so not sure what mine says when others look at it.
So just because it says over a month ago does not always hold true.
