I get a kick out of the kids who have never been anywhere and never done anything. have zero experience in the world and yet think they know everything about it

And to think, my Dad was an MIA/POW just so I can listen to it.

Hell, I don't think even I remember cigs a $1 a pack! I do. It was about 30 years ago. Ahhh well at least that WAS pre Iraq! Yup. You used to be able to buy them out of cigarette vending machines (remember those?? How often do you see one of those things around anymore?). |

Hell, I don't think even I remember cigs a $1 a pack! When I started smoking, they were 75 cents a pack, in communist Southern California. I remember them at 45 cents a pack. When I first started driving gas was 45 cents a gallon. There was this pizza place I used to go to when I was 12 that I could get 3 slices and a small coke for 85 cents. Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm old. |

My grandmother used to be able to buy cigarettes individually at the drugstore! If I remember right, I think they were like 3 cigs for a penny, or something like that.

I get a kick out of the kids who have never been anywhere and never done anything. have zero experience in the world and yet think they know everything about it As the old saying goes ask a teenager while they know everything..... Funny once they actually get to experience life per-say they finally realize they no longer have all the solutions within life. But as was said earlier you get out of life what you put into it......... When one gives nothing they get nothing opinions are great but doing something about it makes things happen. |

This is the saying on one of the signs I sell:
TEENAGERS! Tired of Being Hassled by Your Stupid Parents? ACT NOW Move Out, Get a Job, Pay Your Own Bills . . . While You Still Know EVERYTHING! |

Nice little factoid, pre ****hole iraq there was no property tax, cigarettes were 1 dollar a pack, gas was 50 cents a tank, every house had satellite tv, and college, was free I dont know where you lived Pre-Iraq, but there was property tax, personal property tax, income tax and sales tax. True it was less back then, but it was still there. I even recall gas rationing in the 70's. Now I am ticked off cause you reminded me of how old I really am. |

As much as paying hard earned money sucks..
You need taxes to a certain point that is.. I just wish they would spend them more wisely in certain instances then I wouldn't be so unhappy paying them... |
