Hello Secret Pals!!!! I hope everyone has a very blessed day today! I've been busy preparing for my daughter's wedding. I was told by the chiropractor that I have a bulging disc in my back so I haven't been too happy when he told me it could take months to get better. So I've been running to his office twice a week for treatment and I had hoped it would have gotten better by now.

I haven't heard from my secret pal, but I have had fun sending things to mine.

Okay, here's how this works.

Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for July. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address

You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose.

Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only.

The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must wrte me and let me know you want to participate again.

This is a good reason to start a scrap book!

When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know.

We had terrible storms in my area last night. Power was out for 4 hours and again through the night and this morning. More of the same kind of storms expected tonight, so I may not be around much this evening.

Just wanted to drop in have not been on much the last few days.

Wanted to let ya'll know I received a package in the mail the other day I assume it is from my Secret Pal for June there were to small hand books one was titled "What Every Women Should Do Once" heheh which I'm going to go through it and find something that I need to do from it and see if I can fulfill some of those items.

Then there was another one that is called "Reach for the Stars" that is filled with lots of inspiring quotes.

Then a bigger spiral Handbook that on the front says Believe as does the top of each page in order to write stuff in.

I want to thank you very much from whom ever sent them due to it only gave a return address no name. Matter of fact I'm going to sit down tonight to read the 2 handbooks at this time I need something to lift my spirits thank you very much.

Mystique...I had that same problem a couple years ago, I had to have a month of physical therapy...it seemed to have helped. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Gotta tell you all this seret pal stuff is taking over my life

I went shopping yesterday for a few new items for myself that I need and endedup buying nothing for myself but 4 bags of things for my secret pals

Thank you for sharing this with me. Although I had really hoped to be up and running, and rafting down the river. I've been afraid to do this since my back issue. I have a feeling I'm in for some physical therapy for awhile too. The chiropractor said he is concerned about my long term health with this, and so he was talking about strengthening my back. He mentioned an MRI, but he said that even when they do one the treatment is still the same so he hasn't done one. Every day I wake up I hope the pain is just gone, but with certain movements it's still there. So I'm praying it goes away by the time my daughter gets married on July 7
