G'morning pals! I think I asked this before but some people identify themselves and some don't during the monthly exchanges... Is it supposed to be secret or not??? Who tells? Why or why not? Totally up to the individual if they reveal themselves or not. |

What a little stinker that Dragonflytat is...........my box contained a hand grater, a vegatable peeler,a spoon spatulat, a large grater that folds flat (how cool), set of 3 mini strainers, 2 tea towels, 2 pot holders and 6 dishclothes. Funny how they match my kitchen perfectly
 hmmmmmm.....I think she may have spies in my apartment

Ha!! I got a birthday card today from Patti (plk1966)! It has a photo of Elvis on the front in velvet, in his white jump suit and the inside says...
"Have a hunk-a, hunk-a birthday cake!" Made me laugh out loud. Really cute! Thanks doll!

Ha!! I got a birthday card today from Patti (plk1966)! It has a photo of Elvis on the front in velvet, in his white jump suit and the inside says... "Have a hunk-a, hunk-a piece of birthday cake!" Made me laugh out loud. Really cute! Thanks doll! Glad it made you laugh

 I got to speak with grammy (Wanda) on the phone today.....she sounds nothing like I expected! What a joy it was to put a voice to the face and her great big heart!

Good evening Pals! Geeze, I feel out of touch, I was in NJ since Tuesday for work and haven't been here. I am back home and now the packing begins for the move. Hope everyone's week has been good so far.

Hi Pals!
I spent two consecutive days at the hair salon. Four hours yesterday (partial foil and cut) and the color part turned out awful. Imagine my same hairdo in my pic, but instead of the coppery color it was VERY dark ash brown...almost black. Mixed with the blonde it appeared grey. I got a lot of negative feedback today from my family and coworkers. So I had to go back today and get her to fix it. Ok, so four MORE hours there and it looks much better, although not quite the way I wanted it. Still, I am soooo much happier. I felt so guilty going back, I'm not normally a person who will complain, I will usually just suck it up till the next time. But this was not a good look for me! I have not sent out my secret pal gift. I'm going shopping this weekend.

I'm thinking of going in to have mine done next weekend...chucky highlights and thinking about a body wave...  getting so tired of taking 30 minutes to do my hair once it's dry. A wash n' go do for summer sounds good. Unless I come away from the casino tomorrow evening with pockets full of cash, I have to wait until next weekend to do my secret pal shopping. |
