hater

Hater [adj): A person who cant stand the success of another individual. so rather then being happy for that person; they find a flaw and jolt with it. The result of being a hater is not exactly jealousy. The hater normally doesn't want to be the person that he or she hates. Just want to knock there security level down a notch so they can feel bigger and badder then that person. Haters wanna play hard;

Well then, you have your answer. If you knew she had been with this guy that you work with why did you hang out with her?

Bro's before ho's, Man...

He's not a bro, he is a co-worker. Which is where I think he is confused, I personally don't care for either of them...she was playing the field and I walked off, I have no interest in her or him...except for a plate of spaghetti.

Then get yerself some fava beans & a nice Chianti & be done with it!

Would make sense, but I'm hardly successful...much less if he is trying to knock my security level down, he is failing...hardcore.

This is not a relationship topic.

I have a co-worker that is jealous of me, for whatever reason...I personally don't know why. Seems he may be obsessed with trying to get me fired, again, don't know why. Luckily my manager sided with me on that one. Anyway, why would someone be jealous? Jealous of me no less? I was thinking of making soup but...uh...sorry, trailing off-topic here...

This is one reason why I'm reticent to finding gainful employment that requires me to interact with other people, not only that, but also because after a while, the work becomes irksome and monotonous which inevitably discourages me from putting fourth any more effort into the work I'm performing. Also, I can't help but feel like a servile little drone when it comes to working for someone else.

We talked about this before. Seems I remember you saying you two used to hang,,, now he's pissed...
I recommended that you talk to him and explain "exactly" what happened, no matter what happened as you may be preventing him from having her doing it to him again.

Tried, he won't hear any of it. Won't even talk about it, my manager has recommended we resolve this issue or drop it altogether. I don't care either way, I'm relatively sure he already knows the truth but doesn't want to "hear" it.

I noticed in a later post that you mentioned that you went out with his then girlfriend. Now, with that little tidbit, here's what I sense. Is it possible that when he looks at you, he's reminded of his failures with the former GF? Obviously, there were problems in their relationship otherwise she wouldn't have been sniffing around. Time is of no consequence in matters like this. You to could work together for the next 20 years and every day he'd be reminded of the pain of his failure. From the looks of it, his was of dealing with the situatiion is to lash out and try to get you fired. Suffice it to say, it must really suck to be him. The problem that he has is not with you, it's with himself.

Anyway, just wanted to give you another perspective. Hope that helps...

That would work, if his relationship failed...which it did not, even though he should end it. Figure they are meant to be together by some twisted resolve of fate, or destiny, or a really screwed up vision from a psychotic "leader"...either way, I personally don't care as it won't effect my job (spoke with my manager, apparently he wasn't even complaining to her about me). He showed his true colors, any ability of friendship he once had is now lost. He built the bridge, lit it aflame, and I will watch it burn (so to speak).
