And, even if you would dare to answer, I would not pay too much
attention..

God has you marked for twisting his teachings!

What time on your Rolex?

The darkness is near!!

I reckon I must say something as to the accuracy of your post sir.

Genisis 2-8 he created a garden and placed the man in it yes.
But you left a few out.

Genesis 1-27 he created male and female.
Genesis 1-28 He blessed them and told them be fruit full and multiply,
replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over the fish, fowl and
living things.
Genesis 1-29 through 1-30 he gives each thing created up to that point
the seeds and food each should eat. (vegetarians should read this one
as he tells the male and female that the fruit of the tree yeilding seed
is to be their meat... Interesting!)
Genesis 1-31 he saw and was pleased.

Genesis 2-1 the heavens and the earth wer finshed.
Genesis 2-2 it was the seventh day and he was pleased and rested.
Genesis 2-3 he blessed the seventh day.

Skip to Genesis 2-7 and he formed a man of the dust of the ground
breathed upon him and living soul was created.
Genisis 2-8 He planted a garden eastward in Eden and there he put the
man whom he had formed.

You left a few out in your post. Just thought I would put them in
sequence.

He did not create adam until the 8th day or more. Mankind was made on
the 6th day.

I always wondered how it got so muddled in the beginning, of the
creation story.

I mean to say, on the one hand you have Adam and Eve, and then, on the
next hand you have the first demo model, sent off out in the rest of the
world.

I wonder if whoever wrote all the bits to the Bible, collaborated with
each other?

Because it seems there are so many different versions of events...and
like all accidents, everyone sees something different.

And when a good idea pops up...everyone wants a piece of it.

Which reminds me, who wrote the first bit?

The demo models?

Who were the witnesses to this great event?

And where did they come from?

Bibby, I resent that...I use my brains all the time. LOL

Good Night everyone, sweet dreams........

AdventureBegins,

I guess I wasn't clear enough.

Genesis 1:1-2:3 is Creation from God's perspective
Genesis 2:4-25 is Creation from Adam's perspective

It's NOT two storys of creation. Matthew, Mark and Luke all tell
basically the same story, but from different perspectives. Surely you
don't think there were three Jesus' who were all the Messiah and were
all crucified? It's the same way here. One story from God's
perspective and one story from Adam's perspective.

Also, i don't believe I left any scripture out and they were all in
order. I was answering your post point by point, not doing a full
discussion of the issue. They are two overlapping narratives, so I had
to post them out of the order they appear in the Bible.

SpidercMB replied:

It's not muddled at all, it because people expect chapter two to record
events that occured after chapter one, that causes people to be
confused. Genesis 1:1-2:3 explains creation from God's perspective,
describing everything in the correct order of creation. Genesis 2:4-25
explains creation from Adam's perspective. What he believed happened.
It also gives details about the creation of woman. They don't
contradict each other, but Adam's narrative does reveal how we distort
the truth because we don't see the big picture.

If you read Genesis 2:2, in the Hebrew, you will see that God "ceased
creating on the seventh day". God hasn't created anything sence the end
of the 6th day. Woman was his final creation.

No where does it state Gods perspective Adams perspective.

It simply states that on the sixth day he created male and female. He
then rested. He than created a man from the dust of the earth.

I did not quote the exact verse cause I did not want to accidently
misspell anything and muck it up. You sir quoted the exact verse and
added the word adam & eve in where the verse says simply 'male and
female he created them'.

The name adam is not mentioned until Genesis 2-19. Please show within
the scripture you hold so dear where it states from gods view/from adams
view.

I respectfully state sir that you have changed the wording to fit what
you wish it to say and not what it does say.

Mankind was created first. Adam was created to breath a soul into the
human race. (Genisis 2-7) Eve was created to accompany Adam in his
duties of taking care of the garden.
