Will You Weep?
Who will you weep for when the wind dries the rain? Fields begin crumble, clay sod yields disdain. Our aged remembers, as seen through the years. Once again youth will gasp in dread fears. Generations have changed, hearts seem much colder. Anger so open, fists shaking bolder. Cry is a rage, no tender unfolding. No father or mother, few children for holding. Opportunities many, a chance to redeem. Time fleeting quickly, So little it seems. Oh, who will weep, when it's all blown away? How can the blind, see the children at play? Raine Les 5/22/2009 |
