I'm too tired for mayhem today and well have an earache and my throat is swollen... wonder what the heck that's about...

An earache and a swollen throat? You might have an ear infection or something similar. Could potentially serious. If the symptoms don't subside in a couple of days, you might wanna go see a doctor.

What you COULD do in the meanwhile is flush your ear canals out with warm water when you take your next shower. Just let the shower water shoot its way into your ears, which will flush whatever's in your ears out of them. The water should be as warm as you can stand- no need to kill yourself while doing it.

I have to make a dr's appt for next week so I'll see after I get my bloodwork done..

Yeah. You should definitely let your doc about your new maladies, as there might need to be some meds to be taken, especially that of the antibiotic variety.

That's only happened once, and it was because of an overabundance of earwax in my ear canals. I ended up flushing them out while in the shower and noticed a 1/8-karat sized clump of brown stuff fall out unto the shower floor after a couple of seconds of flushin'.

Needless to say, I kinda needed to get that ear wax outta there. And it DID stop my earache, too!

Huh I wonder if I have earwax, I clean my ears every day after the shower b/c the water drives me nuts..

You definitely have earwax, you're only getting the stuff you can reach with a qtip, which actually can push earwax even deeper into your ear.

You're not supposed to use q-tips in your ear canals, as it can cause mas problemas. Not only that, but you run the potential of accidentally jammin' the little buggers through your eardrums, which is simply NOT what you wanna do.

Yeah, it'll drive you batty, but flushing your canals out with water shooting out of your shower head is the best way to go. Other than having your doctor do it, that is.

Hmmm I don't think they had to have id's back then but I don't know for sure... LOL...


Moof I did that a couple of months ago, dang it hurt really bad... lol
