What happens when every single false belief is stripped away, and you discover every behaviour you have adopted over your entire life...was to keep you as far away from your essential self as possible? You simply start over as the person you should have been all along. So how does one find the courage to DO that??? You really have no choice. Unless you want to continue lying to yourself about who you really are. |

|
So if you've developed really serious coping mechanisms...are they lies or are they survival tools?

You simply start over as the person you should have been all along. So how does one find the courage to DO that??? It takes resilience to maintain an honest self....old habits are comfortable...'safe'....and yet deadly to your Self. It takes strength to face your fears......and watch them dissolve around you. |

So if you've developed really serious coping mechanisms...are they lies or are they survival tools? fear is the most insidious, and crippling of all the emotions... F alse E motions A ppearing R eal..... and the 'bandages'..(coping mechanisms) we use to hide the hurts/fears are treating the symptoms...not the cause. How do I know this? Because we are talking about me...now...right now....unravelling the bandages. |

Why is it that the most ridiculous things are sometimes the easiest to understand if we let ourselves? Because there are times it takes a while for us to stop seeing it as ridiculous. Until we do, we can't actually work the problem. |
