Never been tasered, but have been pepper sprayed and hit with a baton.  Have you really? What happen? If you don't want to say on here then e-mail me Myra... I just saw this, sorry it took so long to respond. When I went through the police academy, we had to be pepper sprayed and do baton training before we were certified to carry those items. All I can say is NEVER, EVER, EVER wear a tight white t-shirt and lace bra the day you get pepper sprayed!  |

Never tasered, but did have to be pepper sprayed in order to be certified for it as a deputy.

and id like to keep it that way although.. i once screwed in a light bulb while the light switch was on in the bathroom and the floor had a little water on it. knocked me on my azz

Been tazed, beanbaged, gassed, and k9'd. There all interesting experience. Some I will choose to never repeat.

I'm too inquisitive for my own good and it may get me into trouble. I've never been tasered, but I recently bought a stun gun to carry with me when I walk at the park. There are some real crazies out there, and I've encountered a few. So now I've armed myself. BUT how do I know this thing really works? I'm tempted to have a friend zap me with it so I can see from personal experience what it feels like and how long it lasts. Tempted, but not quite brave enough (or stupid enough) to actually try it...yet. How bad can it be?? How many drinks will it take to get to the answer to that question?

I think you should go for it. Its an... ... interesting experience to say the least. Something you will put in the book of memories. You may never again repeat you willingly choose to be tazed, but on the upper hand you would have done it.
Just make sure to hold hands with a few people :) |

It might feel different to you based on your height and weight. If a large 250 lb man attacks you, it may not have the same effect but probably it will startle him just long enough for you to scream or get away or somehow draw attention to yourself. |
