I had one. A doctor had to remove it. Wasn't painful. Try viewing some porn in order to divert your attention from your malady.

I have been having some eye issues too lately... It could be from taking to many hits to the head? ...but My vision gets really blurry sometimes...

I need to brake down and go get it checked out and make sure it's not a brain -as Arnold say's TOU-MAH!!biggrin

I never heard of an over the counter drug for stye's, I would ask a pharacist if there is anything that can be done to relieve the pressure. To me...it's just a pimple on the eyelid. It's the pressure of pimple that aggrivates the eye.

I hope you feel better real soon....

Trust me.. there are over the counter meds for it, but I would agree you should ask the pharmacist, if its really bad you may do better going to a doctor for a prescription cream.

I actually have a medication that you can get over the counter....the name of it....STYE....small tube of lubrication...just put a dab of it on the stye and it dries it up in a day or two

Go to the doctor sweetie.... Can you put a patch on your eye untill then? It might help if you keep it shut and stop blinking so much..
That will prevent some of the tearing in your good eye as well..

I wish you well... Eddie

My son had that, and I took him to the doctor. What every one is saying is right. Warm compresses the doctor had him do, and in the medicine cabinet right now we have some stye eye relief eye drops. this bottle says its from similasan (healthy relief, homeopathic.)

hope that helps, feel better. i cant remember how long it took my son to heal, maybe 3 days....

oh, and we got that bottle of drops at wal-mart, i think it was pretty cheap...:)

They go away on their own. Try not to rub and scratch it. If it swells (they generally aren't big at all just enough to be bothersome) or occlude your vision, go to your doc.

Is what you are talking about like a clogged tear duct? I get them on my lower left eyelid all the time. Got one now as a matter of fact.

I went to the doctor a couple of years ago when I had one and they wanted to send me to an eye specialist that wanted a $5000 dollar deposit before they even looked at me. Why? Because I don't have insurance.

I don't do doctors anymore!

Thanks for the tips, I'll try them.

Myself I have never had one. But.....my ex use to get them from time to time. And yes there is over the counter meds you can get. Warm wash cloth held to the eye also helps as well. Keep it clean try your hardest not to rub your eye. Also best not to wear makeup if you can keep from it.
