Why is it that out of all the people working in Vermont, only 20% are native Vermonters, One would think we could not find a job in our own state.

Native Vermonter...hmmm didn't know there were any there anymore...I'm not a native vermonter but I lived there long enough to be considered one finally But...had to move...couldn't afford to live in that state...moved to one that's equally if not more depressed than VT...go figure.... but the rents are better
Now my ? is can we really consider Brandon part of VT?...hmmm sorry being a wise arse Lived in the gateway to the northeast kingdom too long I guess...thanks for letting me ramble on...

The lack of strong businesses, there aren't very many places to attract people and keep them for generations. Now unless they're inbreeding why the hell would anyone want to stay in this State?It's beautiful indeed but the people here don't want to succeed. Everyone has an antique shop, chinese, pizza, burgers for the sake of Pete!!!
Why can't someone LIKE the Mayor allow these towns to grow. We all know what it takes wake up people. This can be a great State.
