We had a tornado go through our town this evening and caused some heavy damage, but no casualties. Kind of crazy pulling my car into the garage to hear the warning sirens go off and rushing to the house to get down to the basement.
No damage on the South part of town, but the North end was destroyed. The local car dealership, homes and varied business. The most amazing thing about all of this was those who came out to help. I am so impressed that our community pulled together and made sure everyone was safe. There is the greater good in mankind, in spite of economic turndown and pisspoor leadership. Gotta love America when we have to get back to basics! |

I am glad everyone was ok, and no casualties, but i wish i could go through the experience of a tornado, im big into storms, and a tornado to me would be the ultimate thrill.. damage, thats what insurance is for!
