This administration's proposals will not help anything and they will cost us out livelihood. Sin taxes, health taxes, carbon taxes, where does it end? Even if his plans work and fixes everything (the economy, universal health care, etc.) who the will be able to afford to live?

I have seen articles showing how healthy food is actually considerably more expensive than unhealthy food.

You can blame whomever you like, but we all know it's yellowrose behind it all. Those damned Texas women.

Healthy food is more expensive then unhealthy food. It's a fact.tears

About ten years ago, we had a thriving movie business in Georgia/Atlanta. Then the mayor and the Gov. got together and thought...."hey if we raise taxes on production companies.....we can make ,even, more money in the form of tax revenues.....They raised taxes and.....guess what happened.....the tax revenue went to zero....Other locations became more appealing to production companies. Last year they "lowered the tax on Production companies...and guess what happened????? Ten feature films to be shot in Georgia this year alone.......Tax revenue increased.......another example of why raising tax rates does not raise tax revenue.....

Wake up!

Taxing soda seems like a very fair use of tax law. I am for it. I don't drink soda, never did before, and not planning to start anytime soon.

I did drink in two times in my life, because I was thirsty and there was noting else to drink. I hated the taste, but, I had no choice.

It feels like something unnatural to me. I can compare it to eating "vines". It tastes like plastic. I could just as well munch on zip-ties.

If this keeps up they will be taxing broccoli.

They can tax the broccoli, makes me gag anyway. Now if the start messing with mushrooms, though, I might have to get angry laugh

that is why they are doing the item taxing

if it does not affect one personally they do not care

when will people learn that till we care about what effect others then no one will care what effects them

we need to stick together people

get over the me attitudes

or there will be no one left when they come for you

look at history say 1930s germany for one era
